Monster is a harsh place to work

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
Maynard, MA

ProsGreat brand name and some good people

ConsWhile on one hand Monster executives day they promote an open door policy as well as innovation, this does not actually play out in day-to-day activities. The executives are quick to point blame when something goes wrong, most often at a scapegoat, and not the senior person responsible.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo what you say. On one hand executives say ethics is a top priority, but promotions do not go to the best workers, but rather the folks that best kiss butt.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Pros: They are a well-known large global company with good benefits but… Cons: The management is quite poor; 3 new executive teams in just a few years and the latest seems to be the worst. … Advice to Senior Management: Ever wonder why Monster is never mentioned when talking about the best… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
