Pros

They are a well-known large global company with good benefits but beyond that there is not much good to say about working there.

Cons

The management is quite poor; 3 new executive teams in just a few years and the latest seems to be the worst. Job stability is economy-driven. They are difficult to work with as a customer. Constant site issues. Very aggressive sales quotas.

Advice to Management

Ever wonder why Monster is never mentioned when talking about the best companies to work for? Read 'Good To Great' by Jim Collins

    Pros

Great brand name and some good people

    Cons

While on one hand Monster executives day they promote an open door policy as well as innovation, this does not actually play out in day-to-day activities. The executives are quick to point blame when something goes wrong, most often at a scapegoat, and not the senior person responsible.

    Advice to Management

Do what you say. On one hand executives say ethics is a top priority, but promotions do not go to the best workers, but rather the folks that best kiss butt.

    Pros

The only pro of working at Monster is you can say you worked there and people will know the name.

    Cons

Everything else. Salary, favoritism, incompetence of senior mgmt, routine layoffs, it's a cold, cold place.

    Advice to Management

Their Sr Mgmt should quit and allow people with talent and leadership to be hired.
