Pros

They hire some of the most intelligent professionals in the industry. The learning potential is massive, turn over is not very high and employees are loyal. This is a fantastic company to work for.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons other than typical company politics.

Management up to regional level is terrible-essentially brokers turned managers.

    Pros

Mostly left alone to do business your way within a broad but strict framework. Very supportive of the entrepreneurial ethic. Rewards for performance are among the best in the business (for stockbrokers).

    Cons

A lot of cronyism at the middle management level. Too much local control left up to the manager but that can also be a good thing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to set up a system to get feedback from the trenches (brokers and branch managers) anonymously.
