Overall, Morgans Hotel Group was a good organization to work for. They offered competitive salaries and benefit packages.

ConsPhysical appearance such as beauty and style very important at this organization. Employees gained recognition by looking good as much as for accomplishing goals.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe organization sometimes teetered between hip and chic vs. inappropriate and unprofessional. With a little work, the organization could elevate itself to a more professional environment while maintaining it's hip edge/advantage. The two are not mutually exclusive concepts.

    Very poor organization, poor leadership, inability to see the here and now, all focus on the future

    Pros: Enormous potential, fantastic brand recognition, strong growth potential and forward… Cons: Absolutely no concept of the state of the company by the leadership. Ineffectual management of cost of doing business by leadership from all levels.
