Overall pretty well though there are days when underpaid and overworked is the best way to describe it.

Augusta, GA

Current Employee – been working at Morris Communications

ProsDespite the pay issue, management is very attuned to family issues and the need for time off, which is a decided plus. This factor alone makes me grateful that I work for the Morris'.

ConsI'm still upset at the pay cut we HAD to take and disappointed that now their bankruptcy issues have pretty much been resolved there is no move to restore our salaries. Moral is down and there are time when we have more work than can possibly be done in the given time. With the pay cut I'm unable to contribute to my 401k and, of course, the company doesn't match what I contribute anymore which further discourages me to participate.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou would benefit in employee support if you 'talked' to us on a more than yearly occasion. And made some sort of acknowledgment of the tremendous amount of work we put out which directly benefits the Morris family.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
