I worked at Motorola Mobility full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Friendly people. Work life balance. Often many people both employees and contractors worked from home.

Cons

In IT there was no career growth. Jobs were routine and no job security. Constant outsourcing with objective of reducing employee headcount with supplementing it with Indian consulting companies like TCS even for onsite projects

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a vision. Value your employees - i.e. the ones that actually do the work instead of listening to middle management who play favorites but cannot solve technical problems. Look at Apple

No opinion of CEO
