I worked at Motorola Mobility full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Motorola was a great company to work for in the late 1990s and early 2000s before the Galvin's lost control. They truly cared about their employees and wanted people to work there till they retired. To be part of the company family.

    Cons

After the Galvin's left power the company started a step decline and was in continuous layoff mode that never ended. Even after the breakup and purchase by Google they still struggle to be profitable and it is hard to see how they will turn it around. Like most of the telecom industry seems like another sad story and ending to a US powerhouse company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the end swift and stop dragging it out.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
