    I worked at Motorola Mobility full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Team base work relation. Relax work place. Fun. We eat out with our team every week. The test we do on the set top boxes allows us to watch TV on the big screen. They get all the channels. The projects has clear deadlines but its still very relaxed. Open work area.

    Cons

    The labs that we work in can get very noisy with all the servers and equipment running.
    The work area needs to be expanded. All the equipment and people makes it seem very cluttered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I have been working at Motorola Mobility full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great co-workers who became friends; ample opportunity to move to new positions internally (in the past); culture driven by desire to design and deliver great products; better than average pay; Google's new influence.

    Cons

    Bad moral from constant waves of downsizing; very low market share (perhaps beyond the point of recovery);

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Spend money on marketing...great products won't sell themselves anymore without a push
