Current Employee – been working at Motorola Mobility full-time for more than 7 years

Pros – The folks below director-level work hard through a challenging environment to get the job done. There is a sense of camaraderie and people are ethical and professional. There can be (depending on your manager) a strong sense of work/life balance.

Cons – Organization, team, direction and middle management change constantly. There is an inordinate amount of politics across all levels. There is no sense of certainty in the products being developed, roadmap, appropriateness to market, and little direction is given from upper management.

Advice to Senior Management – Bring in some new blood and start listening to the employees who are out there interfacing with the customers every day.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
