    Pros

Great engineering minds and wonderful resources.

    Cons

The leadership was leading the way in the wrong direction for over a decade. Google has been trying to change that, but it will take time.

I worked at Motorola Mobility full-time

    Pros

The few employees that remain do care about each other

    Cons

There is no corporate culture left after so many layoffs. Pervasive feeling of stress, sense this is the last chance, and growing belief that Google is going to take the IP and kill off the rest.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The few long time Motorola managers that are left are retired in place, just hanging on for those last few months. New managers coming in are not being attuned to a vision or taught to care about team building. When in consumer products, you need teams.
