    I worked at Motorola Mobility full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    - Work with potentially cutting edge products;
    - Good salary;
    - Good benefits;
    - Good new location;
    - Many, many hard-working teams, many talented engineers;
    - Ability to test out some great products;

    Cons

    - Leadership is completely self-centered, doesn't want to look outside and see what others are doing;
    - Criticism is completely out of question, even the most obviously stupid management decisions are met with ovation;
    - There is no life-work balance as a principle 24/7 is expected of everyone, and anything else is considered as a bad work ethics;

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I have been working at Motorola Mobility full-time

    Pros

    Lots of parking, capable employees are quitting every day

    Cons

    -Old Motorola culture is well and alive
    -No confidence in most of the new leadership, new is supposed to be better (old motorola is just waiting to take over again)
    -Policy for everything
    -Lots of talk about change, but no action whatsoever
    -You'll create slides everyday but you aren't going to be able to ask why, you just execute
    -No innovation whatsoever
    -You are on a need to know basis
    -Culture of No
    -Has taken everything from Google and implemented poorly
    -Cafe is terrible and expensive
    -Lenovo is the new parent company - enough said.
