I worked at Motorola Mobility

Pros

Research environment and it is valued

Cons

Many middle managers are barely educated, not good at capturing who does the real work.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rotate managers often for the health of the company. Otherwise, sycophants get away with less work and more rewards.
