Nice place to work if money is not your priority

I have been working at Mountain Air Cargo full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Caring management, individuals matter, no stress work environment.

Cons

Little advancement, low pay. Great place to work if you have a pension or a spouse that makes more money. This not the company for a career go getter. But a nice place to be if you are not ambitious.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a little more technologically saavy.

I worked at Mountain Air Cargo

    Pros

The only plus working here is the overtime - that is if you're hourly. Otherwise, you are out of luck.

    Cons

Very old company with absolutely no technology. Management is harsh, always yells at employees, blames employees for problems out of their control. Doesn't manage well and mistreats employees. Turnover is so high, I don't know how they keep the business running.
The pay is no good and pay increases are just about non existent.

I have been working at Mountain Air Cargo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great schedule, lots of time at home, weekends and holidays off, great people.

    Cons

Low pay well below industry standards for both Captain's and F.O.'s, no per diem for based pilots, no preferential interviews with FedEx.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the pilot group, in the near future there may not be enough pilots to maintain current levels. Pay must increase as well as per diem for all pilots.
