    I have been working at Moxie Software

    Pros

    You get the best of both sides of the consultant / employee coin. You get to be a consultant because you go to a different client location every 6-8 months, and if you don't like the client, you are only there for 6-8 months versus a career. You get the stability (especially in this job market) of being an employee at a company, with benefits and a regular paycheck.

    Cons

    The management needs to work better at getting news out to its employees, and needs to be more visible to its employees. They had an agenda of getting out to each and every client site where the employees were placed, and that has not happened.

    Get out and meet the people!!!

    I worked at Moxie Software full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great people. In the right position you are left alone to get one with things. Great customers who deserve to be treated better.

    Cons

    Poor leadership, lack of communication between teams promotes a chaotic environment. Older technologies bring lots of configuration issues. Development teams are stretched and product stability and innovation suffer. Top heavy leadership only interested in the numbers not the people. They have a cast aside attitude if you aren't happy there is the door. Focus is mainly geared toward the US and the UK suffers in decisions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Invest in the people, give training provide motivation and energise your teams. Improve the communication and learning experience. Focus on stability both within the application and the company. Focus more on the things that matter rather than looking for the new trend!
