I have been working at Multiband full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Multiband has team mentality, people are willing to go the extra mile to get their work done in accordance with the highest standards. Contributions really make a difference and you won’t become a number.

Cons

Sometimes the work and atmosphere are so fast paced and exciting that the day can fly by before you know it.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Occasionally Multiband does not have the right number of people in the right places at the right times to allow the existing workload to be completed during a normal day.

    I worked at Multiband

    Pros

I worked with some good people, but that was not enough to make up for all the issues encountered there.

    Cons

There is a huge disparity in employee perks depending on which site you work at. The MN office has a gym, with PAID TIME OFF for personal training session, the ND site has neither. The MN site had an elaborate holiday party with a sit down meal on Lake Minnetonka, ND site is getting 2 hours of bowling and pizza...in February! I could go on, but won't. Part of the company was recently bought out, this means they Multiband no longer has to pay out on our 401k match as they promised last year. Everything is very shady and secretive, not a good culture at all!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more transparent and care more about retaining and compensating your employees

I have been working at Multiband full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

No post-HS education required to make decent money. Good for people who don't like being tied to a desk.

    Cons

Long hours, no pay increases in 7 years. Inconsistent polices from management regarding installation guidelines. Empty promises regarding pay issues. Inability to get necessary equipment without losing onsite time. Certain supervisors do not have personalities necessary for management positions. Business ebbs and flows, mandatory overtime during busy season, barely able to get 40 hours and fighting for extra work to get by during slow season.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a better job of promoting upper management's culture into the local office management.
