Pros

pay rate for this type of work, has good potential for the working environment, I work with some great co-workers we work as a team

Cons

fairness to all employees, in this job there is a lot of cleaning and stocking so on busy days I think there should be double employee coverage to make the store look its best

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think our higher management should investigate how their store managers run their stores as far as employee work schedules and the store manager's work schedule when corporate sets their schedule but they are not following procedure instead of letting the assistants and cashiers do the managers job

    Pros

you become more self reliant and you learn the true business, must be willing to learn and retain new information.

    Cons

it is a one person job and this can lead to stress with, things being left up to one person.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

start making all stations no matter the size a 2 person job site. this alone will improve your customer service.

    Pros

The hours were good especially when payroll is cut due to the season. The fact that we aren't open all night.

    Cons

Changing signs when it's -10 outside. Cameras not working. Then taking away the bigger outside coolers. Store manager needs to order more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

District and store managers needs to stop calling their employees liars about everything. Stop faking terminations just to suite you. Then when presented with the correct information they say your the liar. Upper management needs to look at their stores and make sure the store manger is actually ordering everything they need and working the hours they're supposed to not when they feel like it then take sick pay to cover payroll.
