If you train your employees properly, then you don't have to micro manage them. Most people do not respond well to being baby sat.

I have been working at Murphy USA

    Pros

I love the interaction with the regular customers and my coworkers. It is fast paced high energy enviorment which I do enjoy.

    Cons

The turn over rate males it impossible to balance your life outside of the station. you spend your day waiting for the phone to ring to see if your plans are ruined. I think there needs to be more management responsibility and accountability to hire and retain employees so that the ones that they do have will stay and be happy in their job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Store level management needs to be held accountable for their turnover rate so that the stress level in the stores will be less and then you may retain more employess.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO
