Pros

Lots of challenges and opportunities for advancement, great place to have a career, friendly and open environment with transparency and strong ethics.

Cons

Very conservative company tends to lead to a slow adoption of new technology. Everything requires multiple meetings.

    Pros

    Very open and friendly place to work. Always had things going on for their employees. Great benefits. Always willing to work with employees for a good balance of work and family.

    Cons

    Very congested parking area. Spent more time parking and walking into the office.

    Pros

    Flexibility, you are your own boss. Occassional recognition awards where pretty good.

    Cons

    No benefits, subpar training, sink or swim, you get what you put into it. If you don't have a solid marketing plan and a good manager you will have a rough time. Chargebacks and low commissions on some products. Instability on Medsup premiums, you better warn seniors their medsup might go up or else you will get an earful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Expand on your training program. Explain the commission plan in more detail to new agents, this way they understand that they will make no money if they don't hit those targets. Also establish a base salary for promising recruits, a lot of them come in excited to learn the business but it takes time to learn the ropes.
