    Pros

Lot of creative latitude. You are constantly working on cutting edge technology and learning something new everyday. It was very exciting to be a part of.

    Cons

Top heavy management and cumbersome protocols. There was a lot of unnecessary redundancy in the day to day protocols. In some ways they were stuck in systematic rut.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to management would be open up to more outside ideas. Fire the people that sit and waste tax payer dollars and stream line the programs.

I have been working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory

    Pros

The Jet Propulson Lab really invests in its interns and gives them meaningful projects. Many interns publish their work over the summer. The 9/80 schedule is awesome.

    Cons

SInce JPL is part of NASA, a government agency, it mission can change wih each president. The is a lot of bureucracy, as with any other government agency.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to invest in programs for the top minds in STEM. Get rid of all the little unnecessary steps to complete projects.
