    Pros

Flexible work hours, great holiday, sick day, vacation policy

    Cons

    Internal processes are in shambles

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit going backwards! After GE left the scene things started going downhill. They were a well oiled machine even if we didn't realize it at the time. For example, when I left, we were unable to successfully execute payroll for many people because the new management changed payroll systems without really testing it or knowing full capabilities. It couldn't handle special payments (i.e. certain union codes) that we were required to input. They were working on a "workaround" instead of a solution.

The direct deposit process went from calling an 800#, keying in your routing number and going into effect by the next pay period to the old paper forms where you taped down a voided check and faxed in.

They added more levels of bureaucracy that made it harder and harder to do our job effectively or do our job at all.

There was no communication between upper management and the rest of us as multiple changes were coming down the line.

    Extremely frustrating.

I have been working at NBCUniversal full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some entertainment perks, benefits, well known company.

    Cons

Hard to move around, big corporate environment, a lot of the jobs require you to be on call 24/7, unequal treatment, employees aren't valued.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand what your employees jobs are and how hard they work to make deadlines.
