I worked at NBCUniversal as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

I'm so glad I interned at NBCUniversal. There were a lot of perks associated with working there and, not to mention, it looks great on your resume when you're finished. You're also paid relatively well!

    Cons

The workshop trainings for interns start off good but then dwindle throughout the year. Also, there is a bureaucracy (I mean, this is a huge corporation) and it's formal. In order for things to get done, you have to talk to a lot of people. Lastly, I felt like I was a number and didn't really feel like I was a part of the company. It wasn't as hands-on as I would have liked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I can see that NBCUniversal obviously cares about its interns but there should be more activities for interns to meet each other and/or go on trips. That would be great for our morale. Also, it would have been nice to see Steve Burke during our orientation (but I'm being anal).
