I worked at NBCUniversal full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

NBC is a big corporation but each show or division operates as it's own entity. If you are young and ambitious you will go far.

    Cons

The majority of the roles at NBC, especially in the news division require long hours, weekends and travel at a moment's notice. Know going into it that your personal life will be put on hold.

I have been working at NBCUniversal

    Pros

You are apart of a conglomerate and corporation the truly feels it's on their way to being the best media company in the world.

    Cons

Very hard to get the ball rolling on a company so huge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate more to your teams via email. NBC News Group does this the best, specifically Pat Fili and Deborah Turness.
