Current Employee – been working at NCR
Pros – Great job and team. Ability to flex hours and work from home. Current direct management team is very people oriented.
Cons – Little to no recognition. Goals constantly change but are not communicated. Minimal communication between teams. Due to the constant cutting of people the hours required to get your job done increase each year but there is less money. Typically small or no increases while executives bring in high dollar bonuses for cutting jobs to make the P&L look passable. Some managers focused on nothing but making sure they keep their own jobs or move ahead. Training is encouraged during reviews and objective setting but then discouraged due to budget constraints.
Advice to Senior Management – Quit trying to cut so many costs. You are cutting them in one place but the results are increases everywhere else. Try making NCR a great place to work again!
