NCR - once a great place to work.

Professional Services Senior Consultant (Current Employee)
Dayton, OH

I have been working at NCR

ProsNCR has a very strong presence in many sectors such as ATMs and Retail to name a few. They are still catching up in the hardware business but have shown strong improvements in the past couple years to compete more with Fujitsu and IBM. One of the big players in the POS hardware and software industry.

ConsMentality is outdated. Workspaces are small and continue to get smaller. Typically very hot inside building. Cafe is not very good.

Advice to Senior ManagementQuit taking bonuses and hiring more senior officials when you are eliminating jobs on a regular basis.
