Pros
Easy to get into entry level positions. Lots of training provided and good work experience.
Cons
Really poor salaries and constant hiring freezes. Constantly understaffed and staff are heavily over worked. Technicians positions usually require shift work which can be irratic and make having a personal life extremely difficult. Overall employee moral for technicians is extremely low, many actively look for other work while at NCR.
Advice to Senior Management
Get organized and stop treating the front line staff who actually serve the customers and bring in the corporate revenue poorly. Salaries for front line staff are unacceptably low and are leading to increased turnover and general dissatisfaction with the company amoung many of the staff. The company has gone from being an industry leader to just being another low cost technical/IT service provider with no redeeming qualities over many of its compeditors.
