I worked at NCR full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people I worked with were as helpful as they could be.

    Cons

The company is extremely cheap! It does not want to spend money on anything that is not ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY! For example, for an international company, it should have one operating system like Oracle or SAP. However, there are so many ancient systems that have never been updated over the years. Trying to get an idea of what is taking place within the company is like looking at a movie when the picture is scrambled! Even when there is a known glitch taking place, the general answer for everything is "find a work around." Tuition reimbursement is non-existent (regardless of what HR may tell you in the recruitment process)!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend some money! Consolidate all systems globally into one ERP system like SAP. Un-scramble the picture so that your people can make educated decisions about the business!
