I have been working at NCR full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers. Salary is satisfactory. Support from immediate management. Working to expand its market at all times, great PTO policies, that actual work I do... I like it

    Cons

Bonus system based on opinions, 24/7/365 mentality- PTO is nice, but you're basically "owned" the rest of the days if they deem it "necessary". Benefits... not good. CEO more concerned with image than generating real growth for company (moved HQ after 125 yrs in Ohio because he is from NYC, and got a nice bonus in his pocket from GA)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop looking at ways to cut costs to provide shareholders the illusion we are getting better. Improve hiring practices at the top levels and stop over paying them, better sync the bonus structure to actually reflect the work done, people not associated in any way with another job are missing bonuses because of them. Get rid of a leased building for headquarters and additional costs for high end property in NYC. NCR used to own property... own its name. It barely does now... it is all about looking successful over being successful.
