No opinion of CEO

Pros

- Great company to learn - If you have a good manager, you can be very successful - Great Self Service Vision

Cons

- Lack of youth \ Majority of employees have been with company for decades - Quota setting is very much an art and not a science or a combination of both

Advice to Management

Bring back CPC! Incentives like CPC offer great motivation for sales people. Quota setting should be based on more factors than previous year's performance

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

NCR has been around for a long time. It is a stable company. NCR is a global company. It has the largest market share of ATM's in the world. NCR does contribute to 401k plan.

    Cons

NCR offers low pay. It offers very low starting salary. NCR doesn't contribute to a pension plan. Employees have to pay toward the health insurance. Health insurance is average at best. As a Customer Engineer, there is no advancements, there was a 25% pay cut 3 years ago. They have rebanded the customer engineers twice in past five years. There used to be four levels of CE’s. and now only two.

    Advice to Management

Take a better care of your low level employees. NCR CEs have been your front line employees, they are the direct cause of our customer satisfaction. After two rebanding and huge pay cut in past five years, there is very little confident and satisfaction has left for this company.
