Pros

NCS is a very established software integration house that is very strong in processes and project management. It has got enough capital and reserves to weather through many of the most difficult times such as SARS, H1N1, Asian and Global economic downturns.

Cons

NCS' reward system is not known to be the best in the industry, although it strives to be a competitive one. In my opinion, it has grown to be over dependent on market surveys rather than using the general sentiment on the ground. As a result, talent retention continues to be one of the major issues plaguing the organisation.

Advice to Management

NCS need to be more people oriented and treat staff at all level with respect and dignity. Simply using empirical data alone for administering rewards and recognition may no longer be sufficient and the method of choice. NCS needs to rationalise its long term goals.

    Pros

    Regionally big MNC, Bonus good, follow international standards in project, program and portfolio management.

    Cons

    Hardworking everyday, Promotion and salary rise very slow.

    Pros

    deal with a lot of new technology fun and good colleagues who work as a team in most of the time

    Cons

    package is not competitive as performance review is not 360 degree where subordinates can review about their boss also.

    Advice to Management

    clean the slackers and reduce the fats?dont be too lenient to the under performers as it is not fair to the one who works hard just for the slacks.
