My experience with NCS is very pleasant with ample of opportunities for growth, except for the rewards component.

I worked at NCS

Pros

NCS is a very established software integration house that is very strong in processes and project management. It has got enough capital and reserves to weather through many of the most difficult times such as SARS, H1N1, Asian and Global economic downturns.

Cons

NCS' reward system is not known to be the best in the industry, although it strives to be a competitive one. In my opinion, it has grown to be over dependent on market surveys rather than using the general sentiment on the ground. As a result, talent retention continues to be one of the major issues plaguing the organisation.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

NCS need to be more people oriented and treat staff at all level with respect and dignity. Simply using empirical data alone for administering rewards and recognition may no longer be sufficient and the method of choice. NCS needs to rationalise its long term goals.

    Pros

    not so stressed. work life balanced well.
    staff benefits is ok
    quite a number of training opportunities, can choose from many courses

    Cons

    well performed staff not rewarded good enough, payoff doesn't match their contribution to the company.
    your age and years of experience is more important than your abilities.

    Give better compensation to staff, reward and retain the good ones

    Regionally big MNC, Bonus good, follow international standards in project, program and portfolio management.

    Cons

    Hardworking everyday, Promotion and salary rise very slow.
