Current Employee – been working at NETGEAR

Pros – Medical benefits have a minimal cost to employee
Good Location
Nice co-workers for the most part

Cons – No 401K match
Salary is very Low and raises are close to inexistent
Growth opportunity is rare or if there it comes with a work load of 4 people as opposed to 3 people before promotion.
Management is new and lack people skills and use power to benefit themselves
Personal interests are accepted and encouraged although it is NOT professional
Retaliation is encouraged, but well covered by senior management and HR
Management have too much power and HR is not a help
HR is weak and is not employee oriented
Senior management does not interfere or help new managers
Executives mentality is old fashion and lacks trust in their hires

Advice to Senior Management – Should review their managers more often and closely. Moral in company is low due to lack of experienced management and their decisions. I would NOT recommend this company unless you are desperate for a job. Your learning opportunity is minimal, so not even that is worth while.
