No opinion of CEO

Pros

Good working environment. Fast moving. High tech products in a very competitive market. Great benefits - really good health and others.

Cons

High pressure - too few peoples to do do too much work. Losing edge in products - best product is too expensive to make up for declining sales.

Advice to Management

Need to find a really uniques product that will restore the company's lead in the market like Rangemax was 2 years ago.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at NETGEAR full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits Nice team mates Big enough to offer some career progression if you work hard, small enough to feel like you make a difference Some great products and brand Highly ethical, positive culture and values

    Cons

Needs to settle down in some areas, continual change of line management is often not good for recognition of staff and career progression Still seems in start up mode in some under resourced areas, if you are coming from a big company it could be a shock to see how little resource you have to get things done Be sure to negotiate your salary right on the way in, as with avg payrises for a few years you could get left behind the market. Then you might need to leave to fix that. I guess that happens in many places these days

    Advice to Management

Keep moving forward with positive initiatives, invest in staff, reward high performers, focus on fewer but high quality new products, inject some fun back into the workplace, focus on customer experience and happy employees.....then the stock price will take care of itself
