NETGEAR – “Probably one of the worst places to work in Silicon Valley”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Ability to survive with second rated products and third rated management
Cons
This company starts and ends with its CEO Patrick Lo who has some good qualities, but overall this "little" man is not up to the job, and he has not been able to have a strong team around him to balance him out. So, he is getting away with whole bunch of BS with no checks on him.
The result has been a high turn over of the some of the key engineers and staff. This has setback the progress and advanced in this company. The company has turned to a typical Asian company where nepotism and corruption rules and there is no proper way of evaluation of operation and staff.
Advice to Senior Management
Close the doors and sell the company. This place is going nowhere.
