Pros

There are a lot of really nice people there who will allow you to take on new projects and responsibilities if you ask for it. Work-life balance is good compared to other companies. They pay for you to get numerous FINRA licenses.

Cons

Unless you are willing to wait 5 to 10 years for someone to retire or move on, there isn't much growth opportunity. Certain managers are dead weight and allowed to stay that way, which really impacts morale.

Advice to Management

Ensure that everyone is held to the same standard and work on making opportunities for internal employees to move up.

    Pros

Decent building (gym, onsite cafe) - Flexibility scheduling

    Cons

Low pay, minimal training in my IT role, bad/no middle management, lots of GED types mixed in with educated, sharp workers doing the same gig

    Advice to Management

Interact with your non-direct reports, spend money to retain and acquire talent

One of the best small-cap companies to work for, but Sr. Mgt. should value employees with better opportunities!

    Pros

Good place to start your career. Great people to work with and nice perks. You can learn a lot.

    Cons

Not much room for growth or opportunity down the line. Promotions do happen from within, but they are not often. It seems like the only one's that benefit greatly are senior management.

    Advice to Management

You have a vast amount of talent with your current employees. Many leave because they don't see any opportunity long term. Very few people are promoted, which discouranges everyone else from exelling in what they do. Really start looking at what you have now and promote within, even to another positon across different departments.
