You get to watch Hockey.
It sounds exciting to others
Access to tickets for events at Madison Square Garden and the Prudential Center.
Access to hockey tickets in major markets.
Cons
People are used in the incorrect roles.
Management is too concerned with keeping their own jobs instead of doing a good job.
Absolutely no room to grow
Nepotisim is rampant in the organization, friends are hired outside instead of promoting from within.
Night staff is treated as a lower class of employee.
Doing a good job isn't rewarded, however doing a poor job gets you better hours..
Upper management ignores low-level employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Take a look at the skills of your employees and distribute them as such.
Go to bat for your employees, when they disagree with upper management decisions it's your job to listen to those concerns and address them when they are valid.
Realize that working the night shift is not an ideal situation and treat them with the same respect you would give to any other employee. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean that they shouldn't receive the same benefits.
Promote your own employees, stop hiring outside when you have solid people in the company.
Reward solid job performance, don't take it for granted.
Upper management must take the time to actually meet their employees.
