I have been working at NIKE as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Only been there a short time, but seems like a lot of opportunities.

    Cons

they hire a lot of temps, who are managed thru an outside firm. that firm tells prospective employees that have great benefits, but it turns out to be really expensive. they also did not disclose that temp/contractors don't get pto. this is news to those who haven't worked in that capacity before, and they maybe surprised. as far as salary negotiation, anyone accepting a position as a contractor should take that into consideration.
they admit to not having any training or orientation for new employees, and they aren't kidding. they expect people to sink or swim. aren't very accommodating and welcoming.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

invest some time and impart some knowledge for new people. i wonder how many people leave in frustration....
