I have been working at NIKE full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The perks make the company an amazing place to work at. The flexibility work provides in terms of work/life balance, health screens, gyms, childcare, etc provides a great work environment.

In addition the opportunities to move around the company are endless. There is an expectation that you move to new areas of the company so that you can expand your knowledge of the company so that you make sound holistic business decisions.

    Cons

There is no training. In order to succeed in your role you need to train yourself by navigating the matrix organization and learn from the knowledge of others. Since employees move around so often their knowledge of a department/skill/task moves with them. You can't be shy about meeting new people and connecting with them because that is your formula for success.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talent Planning for all levels needs to be a requirement.
