    Pros

Working at Nike is liking getting an MBA in Brand management. The organization has SUCH a strong sense of the power and importance of branding. The way the team was structured when i was there allowed for people to focus tremendous passion on unique segments of the business and pour everything into building the right product for their target. Passion and conviction win most every time at Nike

    Cons

It's a big place. It can sometimes be hard to identify where your specific contribution matters. There's a definite hierarchy and decisions tend to default up the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Push decisions closer to the customer. The front-line employee at the company is passionate and knowledgeable about their segment of the business. Listen to them and trust them. They care about the brand as much as you do.

    Pros

Supportive, team oriented, high energy company.
Great office space, with nice campus.
World class on site gym and daycare facilities.

    Cons

Very competitive which is a great thing,… but there is a risk of overdoing it, resulting in employees burning out

Due to the fast company growth, the company is no longer what it used to be, with increased size comes lots of management layers, politics and added bureaucracy.
