Pros

CULTURE: generally, it's amazing. It's the most open, liberal, & fun environment, which is surprising for a major corporation. However, I can only really speak to Brand Marketing (which tends to have its party/celebratory perks)

Cons

POLITICAL GAME: It's all about who you know. Make sure you have a good mentor or boss, otherwise you'll get nowhere. Too many times I've seen the most egomaniac & fake people rise up the ladder -- because they know whose ass to kiss.

Advice to Management

Read your team. Take the time to sit down with each person, get to know know them, make them feel a part of the team. The more they feel they can trust & look up to you, the more productive they'll be.

    Pros

    Starting pay is good
Pays for you to got to school if you are full-time and it fits into the list of curriculum they accept
Each floor dedicated to different individuals
New positions come up fairly often

    Cons

Working Shipping and Receiving since October 2013 if you are Part time under( less than 20 hours mostly) according to corporate can only schedule us 4 hours a week
Abuse of power in terms of hiring and personal hook ups although you are asked to have people you know apply
    No grace period anymore
Store can feel divided from S&R to sales floor as opposed to a whole team

    Advice to Management

This is more for upper management overseeing the company: Find a more effective way to delegate the budget so that there are not employees literally struggling and calling in constantly because you can only give 4 hours a week.
