NIKE – “Great company to work for, but compensation not adequate”

Pros

Great benefits, great training, great name/company. Overall good experience, but the managers many times are not motivating enough to elevate their employees.

Cons

Salaries lower than competitors; politics can get in the way of advancement. I have experienced an attitude of "perception is reality" meaning as long as you look good, even if it's at the expense of someone else, that's all that matters. Team attitude is severly lacking, and that hurts everyone. Nike motivates and rewards people based on individual accomplishments and not team accomplishments so people don't feel any investment in their teams and each other.

Advice to Senior Management

Motivate good people (monitarily) to keep them around.
