I worked at NIKE full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    401K, ESPP, Medical Ok.

    Cons

Terrible pay. Room for growth but not due to hard working but depending on who you know...if you know what I mean!
Full time employess don't even get 34 hours.
The funny part is your availability has to be open for them with a minimum of 52 hours.
    No balance between life/work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop whipping your employees, all you do is talk about sales, conversion and more sales.
    Treat people with respect.
Some of your coaches really deserve to be fired.

I worked at NIKE full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Beautiful place to work, excellent product, large company, beautiful campus, great perks, talented people.

    Cons

Almost impossible to move or grow internally, some management not well trained, or just plain incompetent. Review process not always factual/fair, based on how others feel about your work (those providing review not always knowledgeable of performance). Managers tend to play favorites, or employees that are good at overselling themselves, or are willing to play the "game", do well. High workload, high stress, long hours and working from home in evenings a "norm", and almost expected. If you have a family it can be difficult to manage work life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mostly pointed to HR. Managers need more training. Listen to employees to make improvements versus going into protect the company mode. The team I was on was/is extremely overworked. Pay is not equal to talent/workload/hours/worked required.

I worked for the company nearly 11 years. Burned out.
