Work-Life balance Attracts self-motivated people Promotes internal transfers - opportunity to gain expertise and skill sets in areas you don't have past experience with

Cons

percent increases are based off of the salary you started with. So as you grow in the organization, all of your promotions/increases will always be incremental, based on what your incoming salary was. If you came in with a low paying salary, you will always be on the low end of the pay scale, no matter how much you grow.

    Pros

    Casual Attire, Flexible Hours, Usually Quiet atmosphere

    Cons

    Room for movement if you are previous friends with management or work lots of OT, used to be casual work environment but suddenly changed, supposedly allow telework but only good friends of management, not enough to be good at your job, advancements at Reston office are given to those without lives that do poor work but lots of OT.

    Advice to Management

    Actually care about Reston, work on advancing the non friends of management that know what they are doing, Operations needs to work the percentages the current model is a waste and not effective
