Pros

Could not have picked a better place to call home! NPD Canada is a great place to work and grow. There is a culture of teamwork and it's truly a collaborative environment. The interview process is long and tedious, but because they are meticulous about bringing aboard ppl who will fit the team for the long haul - ppl they can groom for growth from within if they choose. There is great communication from the top down, a mutual respect between bosses and employees, an excellent on-boarding and training process and above all - extremely interesting work! NPD has a great reputation globally as well.
Salary is competitive to industry (check the salaries on Glassdoor and you will see) and vacation time is above average.

Cons

Work load can often be challenging and requires very good time management and overtime. If you are client facing, managing multiple deliverables at once can be quite sstressful.

    Pros

managers and coworkers are really nice, not to busy as intern and a lot of fun activities

    Cons

It's hard for people to work if you live in the city, really far from the city

I have been working at NPD full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-Good start to get into Market Research
    - Quiet office, if thats what you like
    - Amazing health insurance- not so good vision or dental
    - They do always update us on what is happening with the business, so nothing is left in the dark

    Cons

    -Low Low Low pay
-Hiring is all over the place, they dont have standards for each position. One day they will hire a manager with zero research experience and the next they hire a associate with a masters degree
    - The office is so quiet, everyone is basically scared to chat and take a break for a minute
    - No flex hours
    - No travel unless you are high in mgmt
    - No real perks to work here, no fun days, everythinig is cut for budget

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-Give new people a chance to actually manage an account. Although the clients are the greatest asset, if you dont give lower employees a chance, how will you ever know!
-Have clear qualifications for different positions. When you hire someone who is clearly not ready for mgmt dont hire them as a manager, move someone up! and promote them
    - The turnover would be a lot less if you paid us more and gave better incentives.
