“High hopes went unrealized.”
Former Employee – worked at NRECA
Pros – The benefits were good and fairly comparable for the DC area. And tuition reimbursement is always a good thing, IMO.
Cons – Downsizing is always looming. I got to witness several employees with 20+ years get canned. If the company wasnt loyal to them, why be loyal to the company?
Advice to Senior Management – If you want to retain good people, stop scaring them off with your actions. Watching executives get escorted out is not good for morale. Don't be so resistant to change.
