A Generally Steady Company

Information Technology (Former Employee)

ProsThe business atmosphere is generally steadier than many other companies, due to its place in the utility industry. As a result, management can take a longer term view of the business and the investments made. Those involved in project work (physicial infrastructure and IT), are more likely to be involved in projects that run to completion, providing a sense of accomplishment.

ConsThe company culture is careful and deliberate. As a result, sometimes decision-making is slower than some will prefer. In addition, employee turnover in many positions is relatively low, so opportunities to advance can be limited.
