Perfect place for independent research

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at NTNU

Pros- Excellent salary
- Very good work / life balance
- Competent in many research areas
- Independence when choosing research focus

Cons- Sometimes rather low professional commitment from permanent researchers
- Supervision oftentimes too laid back, leading to little or no collaboration between group members

Advice to Senior Management- Setup a list of goals for all researchers to be accomplished in a certain time frame
- Increase pressure on researchers to actively collaborate

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
