Good company, but intern placement somewhat random

ASIC Engineering Intern (Current Employee) Santa Clara, CA

ProsCool culture, discounted dinner. People are pretty upbeat about their jobs in general. Lots of young managers. Campus is nice

ConsIt seems like not much thought is put into intern placement. I was placed into a software role even though I am an EE. I know a CS intern who was placed in hardware.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Good employer

    Principal Engineer (Current Employee)

I have been working at NVIDIA full-time for more than 10 years

Pros: It's fun to work on gigantic chips that make a difference. Your work is used by a lot of people. End markets are high volume. And… Cons: Can be chaotic at times. Large teams means communication overload and sometimes-oppressive check-in requirements It's starting to become a large company, complete with mini "fiefdoms" Nvidia has… Advice to Senior Management: Be careful fiefdoms don't get too rigid and that internally… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

I worked at NVIDIA as an intern for less than a year

Pros: - Be able to get involved in a lot of stuffs. - Have a lot of freedom to… Cons: - There were few doc available, found it hard to on board with some… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
