Pros

nice people to work with
very good work-life balance possible
open communication (at least on lower levels like engineers, project leaders)

Cons

hardly any carreer advancement for engineers
too bureaucratic
sticking too often to saturated markets instead of driving innovation an opening new markets
no-one-is-responsible mentality of management.
Management often treats the employees like small children who can not be told the - often ugly- truth.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your engineers, make people reponsible for their decissions, and most important: Make decissions, take actions and do not just talk about it. Reduce bureaucracy!
