I worked at NYU (New York University) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some great and friendly coworkers. Great benefits such as vacation, tuition reimbursement and work/life balance, at least in my office and when I worked there.

    Cons

Some serious conflicts between some of the staff members. Unethical relationship between employee and manager There was this romantic couple where one was the manager and the other directly reporting to that manager. Everybody knew that they were an item and had been for the longest time. Still, one was reporting to the other, which (in addition to being just plain wrong) seemed very awkward. Seemed like the leadership were jumping to conclusions and not thinking things through at times. NYU has a lot of money but salaries are generally low for non-faculty.
