I have been working at Narus

    Pros

The people are great to work with.
The technology is on the cutting edge.
The company isn't bound up in rigid hierarchies.

    Cons

    Pay is not competitive.
Boeing has inserted a layer of bureaucratic inefficiency.
There is no room for advancement; it is almost unheard of for someone to be promoted from within.
Work-life balance is difficult to achieve.
    We are chronically understaffed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Foster the development and growth of your employees. This will improve retention and make recruiting easier. Hire more people so that the current employees aren't so overworked.
