    Pros

High quality grocer. Flexible scheduling for part time employees. My shift manager was very approachable and flexible, she accommodated everyone's needs.

    Cons

My store director was incompetent. He thought very little of any employees who were not upper level management at the store level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your cashiers, baggers, and other hourly employees are who customers deal with the most on a daily business. Take an interest in your hourly employees and they will take more pride in the company.

Lack of diversity in the organization

    Pros

Compensation is fair, Benefits are good but could use a lift, offers work-life balance for the most part.

    Cons

There is a lack of diversity in the management pool (Less than 5% of the managerial level workforce are minorities, Less than 5 out of 100 or so directors are minorities, Less than 2 out of 30 or so Vice presidents are minorities). This maybe just a number but it shows that senior management may prefer to hire or promote someone that look like them and are not actively reaching out to diverse candidates within the company or outside the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the organization more diverse so that people don't feel left out and work with positive attitude.
